The Frame of Our Time
The idea behind “The Screen” began with a question:
What does it mean to exist in a world where almost everything we experience is mediated through a screen?
As we thought about the surfaces we touch every day-phones, laptops, tablets, we realized that the screen has evolved. It’s no longer just a tool, it’s become the interface between reality and the rendered, between our human selves and our digital extensions.
That’s where this texture was born.
At the center, a twirling void, representing the unknown, the pull of the digital world.
From that point, gold striations radiate outward symbolizing the constant stream of data, movement, and transformation.
It’s precise, reflective, deliberate much like the coded world we’re living in.
“The Screen” is our reflection on the age of Al a time when surfaces no longer just protect, they participate.
Part of the Breakthrough series, this piece is an invitation to reflect on interaction, on identity, and on how design can hold a mirror to the times we live in.
