Remnants of a Forgotten Civilization
The idea for “The Patina” began with a question:
What happens to beauty when no one is left to preserve it?
We imagined a world beyond maintenance, where time, air, and nature take control. Where walls are no longer painted over but left to age, oxidize, and evolve. That’s where “The Patina” was born.
It draws inspiration from the slow poetry of corrosion, from aged copper, oxidized metal, and forgotten relics that have survived through wear, not despite it.
With deep blues, tarnished greens, and burnt ochres, this texture captures the raw, rebellious elegance of surfaces that have been changed by time.
It’s not about ruin, it’s about resilience.
In this imagined, post human world, decay isn’t destruction, it’s transformation.
The Patina reflects that very spirit: of endurance, of character, and of finding beauty in what remains.
