- Clean and level the surface, fixing cracks and undulations.
- Apply 1 coat of water-based primer.
- Apply 2 coats of putty filler, then 1 coat of acrylic putty.
- Apply Perline in 3 coats, drying between layers.

- Clean the surface and apply 1 coat of water-based primer.
- Apply 2 coats of acrylic putty, checking level after each coat.
- Sand and wipe clean.
